• A multipage website that educates the public on sleep health, disorders and treatments with accessible support tools.

  SleepWiser

Sleep Wiser was inspired by modern educational platforms that contained medical information in an accessible user friendly way. The design and feel was inspired by common imagery and things we associate with sleep, in animated graphics and colors.

This project began with research, outlining content for the website, and building wireframes.Every decision, from the color palette to the illustrations, was intentional, ensuring an intuitive and seamless user experience. One of the main challenges was balancing the siteʼs purpose and message with an accessible design. Adopting a mobile first mindset, I focused on clear typography, appropriate contrast, and generous spacing to make the content easy to read and visually calming. When planning the navigation, hierarchy, and overall flow of the site, I focused on creating an experience that feels natural and intuitive. Navigation should guide users to the information they are looking for without frustration or confusion. Throughout the process, I relied on iterative testing and fine tuned interactions,accessibility, and responsiveness to ensure every choice supported the site's larger goal.

The SleepWiser website demonstrates my ability to design, code, and deploy a complete digital product. Highlighting my skills in front end development, UX design, illustration, and content creation. This is an ongoing project that I will continue to add to and build and eventually promote and collaborate on.

• The goal of this project is to create an engaging and intuitive, interactive webpage that allows the user to shuffle and select random cards from the traditional tarot deck then revealing each of their meanings for the user to interpret. This web application will showcase my proficiency in JavaScript, JSON handling, API integration and server Skills.

  Tarot Reading

This project is inspired by the traditional digital tarot reading sites. It references well-known tarot card interfaces and combines it with web development practices, and JSON for data management. My motivation was to blend this old spiritual practice with the new age technology, creating a seamless user experience that is both educational and entertaining.

I started this project by first designing the layout and flow of the page and how the user will interact and select each card. The tarot deck images were obtained through adobe stock and then each card was implemented as objects in an array, each card containing details, image, and description. Using Java Script, I created a function to shuffle the deck, handle the user interactions with the cards and then dynamically display the card and its information. I integrated external card images via an API and used JSON to manage card data. The backend server was set up to serve the card information and handle API requestsI made the site responsive and intuitive with smooth animations for shuffling and card reveal.

The project was successful in demonstrating core web development skills, with a functional interactive tarot reading experience. It was completed within the project deadline and is live on my personal website.

• Collaboration with the client to develop cohesive visual branding and design across web, apparel, and print, creating a visual identity that enhances visibility.

Valor Academy of Martial Arts combines elements of sports and modern fitness in their branding. The inspiration also came from the values of martial arts itself and reflecting its culture in the brand.

This was a strong collaboration with the client/owner of Valor and using the color palette that was already determined and building from that. The original logo was designed with the blend of American and Korean styles that is represented as their flag in a yin yang symbol. It was important to create something that could be timeless and used in multiple ways and variation.

The outcome was completed on time and within budget by delivering a cohesive brand identity and responsive website that effectively represented the martial arts school and its values. The current website can be seen at
